Outcome/Impact

To assist its team of web editors in these areas, the office created  a new Maizey using the UM-Dearborn style guidelines as a base dataset, effectively creating an AI copy-editing assistant. This Maizey did not generate any new content, but instead reviewed unpublished drafts and suggested changes meant to align with the style guidelines and editing standards. Additionally, it provided rationale for the changes it recommended. Overall, the Maizey has been a valuable tool for web editors in creating consistent copy throughout the entire UM-Dearborn website.
